Journey Digital is delighted to announce a golden run of award wins in the last few months. They include:

It’s a celebration of epic proportions for leading design and technology company, Journey Digital, headquartered in New Zealand. Journey have won eight awards across five awards programmes in Australia, London and the United States of America, highlighting Journey's worldwide positioning as a prestigious project developer and partner for businesses across the globe.

“We are so proud of the collective work of the joint teams made up of Journey and our customers,” says Dane Tatana, managing director, Journey Digital. “It’s really astonishing the range of projects that have been recognised out of our studios. Whether it’s from ski resorts to aviation in terms of industry, or from switchboard configuration to consumer game apps in terms of application, at the core it’s about an absolute dedication to elevating the customer experience. That is our purpose here at Journey Digital, and we’re so grateful we get to work with clients who are as dedicated as we are.”

Australia's Good Design Awards acknowledge design and Innovation at the highest level, attracting high-quality design projects from Australia and all over the world. The awards attune 11 design principles which cover more than 30 categories and subcategories, including excellence in architectural design, engineering, fashion, digital and communication design, and emerging areas of design including design strategy, social impact design, design research and up-and-coming design talent in the next-gen category.

This years, September 2022 Australian Good Design Awards entries were evaluated by more than 70 Australian and international jurors, including designers, engineers, architects and thought leaders. Each project was judged according to a strict set of design evaluation criteria, including good design, design innovation and design impact.  ‍

Two awards at the Good Design Awards were won by Journey Digital, they are:

  • Good Design Award Gold Winner, Digital Design category: The collaboration between Journey Digital and NZ Ski on the NZ Ski suite of websites, saw the duo receive recognition for outstanding design and Innovation. The winning project is a master website and three location websites with unmatched, end-to-end, CX design and easy, informative digital services, which help to resolve the problems and woes ski resorts and fields struggle with.

  • Good Design Award Winner, Digital Design category: Journey and the UK’s Jaguar, received recognition for outstanding design and innovation with their Ace Pace app. An app that provides care and tennis fans with a hands-on interactive experience - testing their serving skills and pitching them against other players around the world.

It wasn't just the Good Design Awards that shone a light on Journey. They were also honoured for their digital innovation – FlexSelect platform – with Australian brand Clipsal by Sneider Electrical, at two award ceremonies. At the BETTER FUTURE Sydney Design Awards – which celebrates sustainable development goals and positive environmental impact, they took home a gold in the Digital – Expanded Service or Application category and a silver award in the Digital – corporate category. At the Melbourne Design Awards, they celebrated with silver. The first-of-its-kind FlexSelect platform enables electricians, contractors, and switchboard manufacturers to easily plan, configure, construct and quote extensively customisable Schneider Electric circuit boards. Development was focused on bettering customer engagement, so the design balances great user experience, with feature-rich application and innovation.

The awards road doesn't end there for Journey. Gold Awards at the New York Design Awards, alongside the MedAire with their Headquarters in Arizona, USA and ten other offices around the globe. The pair have won Digital – Travel, and Digital – Expanded Service or Application categories for their work on the MedAire Aviation Security Platform.

MedAire360 is the go-to portal for VIP flight operators. This online tool reduces the logistical challenges and guesswork operators face daily when selecting a route, taking to the air and in flight. The visual, map-based user interface combines over 20,000 data points, providing users with an instant snapshot of risk factors affecting global travel.

The icing on the cake is the Silver Awards secured for the UCB The UCB Impact Aid for Digital - Business Platforms at the 2022 London Design Awards. The platform leverages creative design, technology and gamification to create alignment and build engagement. End users in both sales and medical teams across Europe engaged with useful, timely information and resources with which to inform their customer conversations and motivation in the form of challenges, leader boards and awards.

These awards are not just a testament to Journey's extensive design and visionary expertise, but their ability to serve the world stage and form global partnerships – Schneider Electrical based in Australia, Jaguar based in the UK, MedAire based in the USA, and NZ Ski, Aotearoa – taking businesses and customer experience to new heights.
